Stephanie Amend

Stephanie Amend has dedicated her entire career to government contract management. She has spent over 13 years as a government contracts manager; both from the position of a civilian employee and private industry contractor.  In her current role as Founder and Executive Consultant of Arrowhead Solutions, LLC, her goal is to provide new and growing government contractors with the right solutions at the right time.

Her career began with a fast track management program as an Outstanding Scholar for the US Air Force.  Excellent training and complicated acquisition experiences allowed her to transition to StandardAero, as the Utah division's contract manager. Skills obtained from demanding proposals and managing small business subcontractors well positioned Stephanie to be the Contracts Manager for Numerica Corporation before founding Arrowhead in 2009.

Stephanie's well-rounded experience uniquely suits her to support the diverse needs of her clients.  With hundreds of millions of dollars having passed across her desk in the forms of proposals, contracts and subcontracts; her view of "both sides of the table" is broad and deep.  Her specialty resides in the defense and space industries, however, she is familiar with a wide array of industry and  agencies.

Additionally, Stephanie is the Social Media Chair for the NCMA Denver Chapter Board of Directors and serves as an adviser for the Colorado PTAC, Boulder SBDC, and Loveland Center for Business Development.

Ms. Amend graduated Cum Laude as an Honors College student at the University of Georgia with a BSA in Environmental Economics & Management , and holds an MBA from the from the University of Phoenix, Ogden, Utah campus.  She is a Colorado native and competes in ultra-marathons and endurance mountain biking.
