Laurel Lennon has spent more than 20 years working with organizations to maximize value, as measured on operational, financial, and reputational metrics. She believes in the importance of a solid business strategy, coupled with the ability to articulate it to all relevant constituents.
Her career has encompassed roles at GE's corporate communications department during the Jack Welch era, brand management at P&G, institutional equities at JP Morgan, and as consultant to family-owned small businesses. She was also head of investor relations for a pre-IPO $250MM revenue consumer marketing company which was acquired by Time Warner. Along the way, Ms. Lennon has had functional roles in media relations, business development, client services, and corporate finance.
The breadth of her experience gives her an understanding of companies across many industries and of all sizes, and the challenges unique to different competitive and regulatory landscapes. Having worked with entities going thru public upheavals, she is also well versed in all facets of corporate communications, investor relations, and crisis management.
While the majority of her professional career has been in the private sector, she also has political experience at the local, state and national level. Additionally, she is involved with the Honor Flight, volunteers with local educational organzations, is active with outreach and fundraising for her alumni institutions.
Ms. Lennon holds an undergraduate degree in Journalism and English from James Madison University, and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of a career Air Force officer, and after many years on the East Coast now calls Denver home.
